Tuning Your Signal: How to prepare for your reading with Kelli Joel at VYBE.LOVE
How to Prepare
Booking a session isn't about coming to me with all the answers—or even all the questions.
It's about creating intentional space to pause, become curious, and look at your life from a wider perspective.
Most of us spend our days responding to whatever is right in front of us: work, relationships, family, decisions, responsibilities, and the constant stream of thoughts running through our minds. Over time, it becomes difficult to distinguish between what's truly ours and what's simply conditioning, fear, expectation, or noise.
That's what our time together is for.
I often describe my work using an aviation metaphor because it's the closest thing I've found to explain what I experience.
You are always the pilot of your life. Your hands remain on the controls.
My role is more like the control tower—or occasionally the co-pilot—where I can see weather patterns, blind spots, and the broader landscape that are difficult to recognize from inside the cockpit.
I don't take over your flight path.
I simply help you see it more clearly.
Whether you've booked a Signature Session as your introduction to this work or you're beginning the Soul Alignment Series for a deeper level of exploration, a little preparation helps us spend less time clearing static and more time listening for what wants to emerge.
Think of this as your pre-flight checklist.
1. Prepare Your Space
Because we meet over Zoom, you're already in an environment where your nervous system is naturally more relaxed than if you were driving across town and sitting in an unfamiliar office. That matters.
Your environment becomes the foundation that supports our work together.
Choose a quiet space where you won't be interrupted for the duration of the session. If part of your attention is listening for children, pets, phone notifications, or someone walking through the door, some of your awareness remains occupied. The quieter the environment, the easier it becomes to settle into the conversation.
Please log into Zoom a few minutes early so we can begin on time without troubleshooting technology.
A stable internet connection and headphones, if you have them, help create a cleaner conversation. I also like to be able to see your face clearly. It keeps our interaction grounded and connected while I'm simultaneously perceiving the larger patterns unfolding around you.
2. Come with Intentions, Not Expectations
This is one of the most important ways you can prepare.
Intentions create openness.
Expectations create limitation.
It's wonderful to arrive with areas you'd like to explore. Maybe you're seeking clarity around your career, your relationships, your health, or a major life decision. Those intentions help orient our conversation.
But try to hold those questions with curiosity rather than certainty.
Sometimes the most valuable information isn't the answer you expected—it is the insight that allows everything else to make sense.
My role isn't to confirm a script you've already written.
My role is to observe the Signal.
Together we'll explore what your own deeper intelligence is trying to bring into awareness, even if it arrives in a form you didn't anticipate.
Curiosity creates space for surprises.
And in my experience, that's often where the most meaningful breakthroughs happen.
3. Stay Present—I've Got the Recording
During a session I often receive information in symbols, metaphors, images, phrases, or impressions that may seem completely unrelated in the moment.
Sometimes they make immediate sense.
Sometimes they don't.
Both are perfectly normal.
The good news is that your session is recorded, so you don't need to spend our time taking notes. Instead, allow yourself to stay fully present.
I've watched many clients revisit their recordings weeks or even months later and suddenly recognize why a seemingly random image or phrase appeared exactly when it did.
Trust that whatever arrives has its own timing.
Your job isn't to analyze every detail while we're talking.
Your job is simply to remain open.
4. How I Experience the Signal
People often ask what I'm actually doing during a reading.
The simplest answer is that I'm paying attention.
I experience information as a living field of patterns, symbols, emotions, and relationships that exist beyond ordinary conversation. Rather than trying to predict a fixed future, I'm observing where your life appears to be flowing, where old conditioning may be keeping you stuck, and where your own deeper wisdom is inviting you toward something different.
Sometimes I notice places where you've drifted onto autopilot—old beliefs, inherited stories, or familiar coping patterns that no longer serve you.
Sometimes I see remarkable strengths that you've overlooked because they've always come naturally.
Either way, my purpose isn't to tell you what to do.
It's to offer perspective so you can make more conscious decisions for yourself.
5. Give Yourself Time to Integrate
A meaningful reading doesn't necessarily end when we hang up.
Many people feel lighter afterward.
Others feel reflective.
Some simply notice that life begins organizing itself differently over the days that follow.
Give yourself a little space after our session before jumping back into emails, meetings, or errands if possible.
Drink some water.
Take a short walk.
Sit quietly for a few minutes.
You don't need to figure everything out immediately.
Often the deepest insights continue unfolding long after the conversation has ended.
6. Beyond Your First Session
For many people, a Signature Session provides an important snapshot of where they are today.
It helps illuminate patterns, clarify choices, and reconnect them with their own inner knowing.
Sometimes that's exactly what's needed.
Other times, people recognize that they want ongoing support as they consciously reshape long-standing patterns. That's where the Soul Alignment Series becomes valuable. Instead of a single conversation, we work together over time to create meaningful and lasting change.
For clients who have already completed an individual session and want regular intuitive guidance between appointments, I also offer SignalLine.
SignalLine is a monthly membership where I send intuitive voice memos—typically a couple each week—as I notice meaningful shifts in either the collective field or your individual journey.
Think of it as an ongoing conversation that helps you stay connected to your own Signal between sessions.
Ready?
If you've booked a session, something inside you is already reaching for greater clarity.
My intention isn't to tell you who you are.
It's to help you recognize what you've always known beneath the noise.
I look forward to meeting you, exploring your Signal together, and supporting you as you continue navigating your own unique flight path.
See you soon.
